Account & Data Deletion
Your data belongs to you. Deleting it is straightforward.

Your Right to Delete
You have the right to delete your BigZ account and all associated personal data at any time, without justification, under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and our Terms of Use.
How to Delete Your Account
Option 1: In-App (Recommended)
- Open the BigZ app
- Go to Settings
- Tap Account
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm deletion
This process does not require contacting support. Your account and your server-side personal data are deleted immediately, and the app also clears the data stored locally on your device. Any residual backup copies are purged within 30 days.
Option 2: By Email
Send a deletion request to support@bigz.training with the subject line: Account Deletion Request
Include the email address associated with your BigZ account. We will process your request within 5 business days and confirm by email when complete. The email route deletes your server-side data; any data still stored locally on a device remains there until you delete your account from within the app, sign out, or uninstall the app.
What Gets Deleted

Server-side data is deleted immediately when you confirm deletion. Any residual copies in encrypted backups are purged within 30 days.
What Is Not Deleted
- Anonymized aggregate data: statistical data that cannot be linked to you is retained for product improvement
- Financial transaction records: retained as required by Estonian and EU tax regulations (typically up to 7 years). These records are held by Apple or Google, not by BigZ, and contain only transaction identifiers, not your payment card information
Subscription Status at Deletion
Deleting your BigZ account does not automatically cancel your App Store or Google Play subscription. To avoid future charges, cancel your subscription separately before deleting your account.
Cancel on iOS
Settings → [Your Name] → Subscriptions → BigZ → Cancel Subscription
Cancel on Android
Google Play → Profile → Payments & Subscriptions → BigZ → Cancel Subscription
Data Recovery After Deletion
Account deletion is permanent and irreversible. We cannot recover deleted accounts or training history. If you create a new account after deletion, it will start fresh with no prior data.
Confirmation
We will send an email confirmation to your registered address when your account and data have been permanently deleted. If you do not receive this confirmation within 35 days of your request, contact us.
